Malek El-Hassan
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Qualifications:
Malek has had extensive experience in the NDIS space for over 5 years now, assisting a range of different clientele, from infants to older adults. Malek has a distinct passion for working with children with intellectual disabilities because it gives him a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the most important part of a clients life where “guidance and support is pivotal for their ongoing development”. Malek enjoys helping them unlock their potential, celebrate their unique strengths, and create an inclusive environment where they feel valued and supported.
In his spare time, Malek plays football for his local club, the Newport Panthers Football Club, goes to the gym and loves trying out different cafes & restaurants!
Jenna Goricanec
Speech Pathologist
Qualifications:
Jenna completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters’ of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University. Her experience has included working with children in clinics, childcare, kindergartens and school settings. Jenna is passionate about helping children to become confident communicators in ways that are fun and engaging. Jenna has special interests in the areas of language, speech and literacy.
In her spare time, Jenna enjoys going to the gym, catching up with friends for coffee and a walk and playing with her dog Murphy.
Celene Mezher
Speech Pathologist
Qualifications:
Celene graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. Celene is particularly interested in speech sound disorders, language facilitation and literacy. She is very passionate about working with children to achieve their goals in a fun and engaging way that incorporates each child’s unique way of learning and special interests!
In her spare time, Celene loves going to the gym, cooking different foods, and singing!
Hossein
Occupational Therapist
Qualifications:
Hossein is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with six years of experience working with paediatric and adolescent clients. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy (2019) and has pursued specialized training in areas such as sensory processing, executive functioning, self-regulation, and interventions for ASD, ADHD, and developmental delays.
His expertise covers a range of conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, and intellectual disabilities. Hossein utilizes various therapeutic approaches, including play-based therapy, sensory-affirmative techniques, psychosocial interventions, and fine/gross motor skill development. He also conducts formal assessments and provides caregiver education.
Fluent in multiple languages, including English, Azerbaijani, Farsi (Persian), and intermediate Turkish, Hossein is passionate about helping children and adolescents build essential life skills. Outside of work, he enjoys gaming, hiking, golf, and cinema.
